Cherokee Federal

Brand Film

The Cherokee Nation, Cherokee Federal, HHS, the City of Pomona, Case Managers, and thousands of volunteers banned together to reunify more than 8000+ children with their families in the course of a year. Cherokee Federal partnered with Pastilla and Feee Films to tell this story. With strict sensitivity for the children's privacy, our team was allowed on-site to produce this brand film and commemorate the work of Team Hope and the distinct success of this emergency intake site. Under the Biden Administration, the United States Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) under the banner of Team Hope moved quickly to remove children from holding centers at the border into an Emergency Intake Site (EIS) at the Pomona Fairplex. Team Hope provided the children with case managers, health checks, food, education, shelter, vaccinations, and additional resources, while case managers aimed to reunite them with their families.
